William (Bill) Featherston (1927 - 2009) was an artist for over 60 years. Originally from Toronto, he lived, worked and exhibited in Europe for fifteen years. After he returned to Canada. Bill had major shows in London, Edinburgh, Toronto, Washington, D.C. and Vancouver. He taught at many major art schools and universities. Featherston’s work is held in private and public collections including the Canada Council, Ottawa Art Bank, B.C. Art Bank, University of Buffalo, Leeds Gallery, Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and the University of Glasgow.
